As you prepare for your new role as an autism specialist, it is important to org

As you prepare for your new role as an autism specialist, it is important to organize your professional biography and artifacts that can be showcased as part of your professional practice materials.
Throughout the course, you will be creating an electronic portfolio by adding the deliverables from your clinical field experiences as directed. The final portfolio will be submitted in its entirety at the end of Topic 6. The intent of the portfolio is to create a set of practical resources that can be shared and utilized by yourself and others as part of your professional practice and be something you can add to over time.
You may use the technology and format of your choice to complete the portfolio. See the “Electronic Portfolio Requirements” for suggested tools. As you develop your portfolio, refer to the support documentation provided by the tool you chose. Some sites may offer more robust training resources than others. The electronic portfolio should include the following items:
Part 1: Table of Contents and Professional Biography
Create a Table of Contents that outlines the content of your portfolio by clearly naming each artifact that will be included in the portfolio. A list of these artifacts is provided in Part 2 of this assignment.
Introducing yourself to district stakeholders with whom you communicate electronically or via a district website is an important part of creating a positive first impression, developing rapport, and explaining the role you will play as the autism specialist. Create a 150-word professional biography that you can easily share electronically with district stakeholders as part of an email, on a website landing page, and/or in a presentation. This can be written or presented in a one-minute video. The biography should include the following:
Full name and job title
Professional qualifications
Summary of your role as an autism specialist
Contact information
NOTE: You may use the professional biography you created in the SPD-547 Topic 1 “Administrative Meeting Agenda and Needs Assessment” to support this assignment.
Part 2: Course Artifacts
The following deliverables will be created in your clinical field experience assignments for this course and will be added to the electronic portfolio.
Leadership Infographic from Topic 1
Leadership Survey Link from Topic 1
Leadership and Advocacy Professional Development Proposal from Topic 2
Final Leadership and Advocacy Presentation Outline started in Topic 3 and completed in Topic 5
Meeting Agenda and Chart from Topic 4
Digital Deliverable on Support Resources from Topic 5
Professional Goals from Topic 6
Link to Leadership and Advocacy Presentation from Topic 6
Submit the link to your electronic portfolio in a Word document. Ensure that others can access the link to your portfolio prior to submission.
