As I grow up seeing my grandfather taking care of our family business of olive lands and how my father took the lead to study business and management professionally I became committed with a keen lifelong interest in business and I also became more aware of the importance of how the world of business and commercial are affecting our daily life.
In fact, the world of business is changing rapidly, and understanding the field will open a world of possibilities for us. As my family runs their own business they inspired me to take the path to study business at A-Level to take pursue à career in business to become a successful entrepreneur who demands creativity, innovation, and a strong execution strategy.
I have always been interested in learning about management, entrepreneurship, and marketing, I love to learn more about problem-solving in the field of business and how we can gain a good understanding of basic economic principles and how markets are affected by world events like Interest rates and recession.
Currently, I am studying business A level which has introduced me to a variety of topics regarding the fundamental principles of all business it also developed my knowledge about the four main business functions Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Human Resources. Alongside business, I enjoyed studying Economics at AS level which contributed to my understanding of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. For example, Macroeconomics looks at economics from a national point of view such as Inequality, immigration, Unemployment, etc, unlike Microeconomics which studies the individual in decision-making. All of these factors fascinate me and for sure its an area that I would like to build on to help me in my future career.
On the other hand, I feel extremely appropriative of my familys entrepreneurial path, which afforded me a fortune of work enlightenment that will for sure help me in my future studies and careers. I still remember my first experience of olive oil harvesting I even had the chance to handpick olives from the trees with my grandfather and travel from one factory to another to get our olives oil processing traditionally for the best premium result. From there I started to take my family business more seriously and helped out more frequently to always thrive to learn new experiences and hear from entrepreneurs about their business challenges and management.
