There have been so many leaders in the past and one way to understand their leadership is by analyzing what behaviors they showed and what were they willing to do to lead. As Steve Jobs quoted; innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower. Steve Jobs was heard being harsh with his workers but when the statement was brought to him, he replied by addressing all his workers as smart people working in his company and if they were feeling abused they could easily find foremost jobs in other companies by looking elsewhere but they would rather stay and continue to work for Mr. Steve and the works done by that time were admirable (Isaacson, 2012).
Here Mr. Steve was being intelligent as he was being accused of treating his workers with roughness which was questioning his leadership but he chose to reply wisely by saying his workers were smart people and they were working in his company under free will. What we can notice here is Mr. Steve never gave up and kept investing and working to be able to be on top. The case of Pixar shows how he used his money to invest and use it to acquire a leading position in Disney so that he could share the huge profit made by the company over the years. He was always a leading type of person more and less a follower type. He showed that he wanted to be on the top of the game and that he was being dominant. This shows how Steve wanted so badly to lead so that he could bring so many changes and be in the top position to have control and make his company successful. His legacies left behind him with millions of people liking his products shows that he was able to make it a success.
